With The pARTy! less than three weeks away, we wanted to give you a sneak peek at a few of the exciting studios and sponsors that are making it a real party! Have you bought your tickets yet?

Poem Store with Jacqueline Suskin

Jacqueline Suskin is a writer and performance poet based in Los Angeles. Known for her ongoing multidisciplinary work with a project she calls Poem Store, Suskin composes improvisational poetry for patrons who choose both a topic and a price in exchange for a unique verse. She regularly brings poetry into classrooms around the country and was honored by Michelle Obama at the White House as a Turnaround Artist. Poem Store will be offering improvised poetry on-site at The pARTy! based on the topic of your choice.

When P.S. ARTS reached out for me to be involved with pARTy! I accepted the invitation as an honor. I’m in full support of any program that nurtures artistic expression and the P.S. ARTS community does just that and then some. I’m excited to bring the craft of poetry to this inspiring event!

Modern Times Beer

We’re excited to invite our new LA neighbors, Modern Times Beer, to The pARTy! as the official beer sponsor!

Modern Times is employee-owned and prides itself on a series of tried and true, tasty beverages while also testing the boundaries of beer making in experimental pilot batches. From the origin of their name (a utopian community on Long Island) to their approach to beer making, Modern Times is a shining example of artistry in beer form.

As huge believers in the life-affirming and world-enriching power of art, we couldn’t be more excited to support P.S. ARTS, who are providing crucial educational opportunities to children who need it.

The Herb Alpert Foundation

The Herb Alpert Foundation has been a committed supporter of P.S. ARTS since our beginning. The Foundation believes that an early experience in the arts can enhance a child’s critical thinking skills and ability to be creative in all aspects of life. Through the arts, they believe children are able to harness their unique creative spirit and grow to become vital and compassionate members of their community. We are thrilled to have The Herb Alpert Foundation as a Clay Sponsor for The pARTy!

The arts have the unique ability to transform lives and allow us to recognize our shared humanity. The Herb Alpert Foundation is a proud sponsor of the pARTY! and the award-winning arts programs that P.S. ARTS provides.
