P.S. Arts Alexa

We are happy for everyone to meet our new Media & Design Intern, Alexa! Learn more about her and what she’s reading and listening to!

Briefly introduce yourself and explain your position at P.S. ARTS.

Hi! My name is Alexa Felberg, and I am a recent graduate of Azusa Pacific University, where I earned my BA in Graphic Design and a minor in Marketing. I am the Media & Design Intern at P.S. ARTS, and I will be using my design and marketing knowledge to elevate the design of newsletters, retouch the website, and improve the social media presence of P.S. ARTS.

What book is currently on your nightstand?

I love listening to audiobooks and recently just finished relistening to the Harry Potter series, but currently, I am listening to Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi, a young adult fiction that takes place in a world of magic and constantly leaves you in suspense!

What is currently the most played song you’ve been listening to?

I’m a pretty big Taylor Swift fan, so her recent album “Evermore” has been on repeat a lot lately. Some stand-outs for me on the album are “Gold Rush” and “Long Story Short,” but it’s a great album overall!

Where is your favorite place to view or take part in art in Los Angeles?

Last year I had the chance to visit the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena, and I was very impressed by the variety of artworks they had on display. I enjoyed their South and Southeast Asian collection of paintings and sculptures, as it felt surreal to be surrounded by artifacts from so long ago.

What famous person, either dead or alive, would you choose to take out for coffee?

I never know how to answer this question, so many good options haha. But right now, I would have to go with George Lucas. I’m a huge fan of Star Wars, but I am also really inspired by Lucas’ creative process and all the trials he endured for Star Wars to even see the light of day. I would be interested in learning more about how he came up with his creative visions and devised his stories, as visual storytelling is one of my greatest passions as a graphic designer.

Thank you, Alexa! We are so excited to have you on the team. We look forward to hearing more about your projects. You can learn about the roles of the rest of P.S.ARTS’ staff here.
