P.S. Arts #WhyIGive, Heather & Ben Arnold

The Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon, Charity Relay, and LA BIG 5K are this weekend! On our final #MarathonMonday, meet the Team P.S. ARTS runners from Yoobi, Giant Media, and Three Day Rule.

Why did your company choose to join Team P.S. ARTS, and why do you think it’s important to support arts education in our schools?

Yoobi | yoobi.com
We at Yoobi believe that education is the key to success. Having equal access to the tools to learn and be creative is a right, not a privilege! Yoobi strives to provide essential learning supplies for classrooms in need across the U.S. through our one for you, one for me mission. We are so excited to support P.S. ARTS by running in the LA Big 5k! The Yoobi Team is thrilled to support this amazing event and contribute to the impact that P.S. ARTS is making within the education space!
— Team Yoobi

“I grew up taking art classes, going to art camp, crafting, and listening to, playing, and dancing to music!  Art has always been at the core of my education and daily life, and it has certainly shaped the person I am today; this cause is very important to me on a personal level. We hope that we not only raise the funds needed for P.S. ARTS’ programs, but also awareness about the importance of what they do!”
— Sarah Stuart, Team Yoobi Captain

Giant Media | giantmedia.com
“As members of a creative industry, we are very proud to be a part of Team P.S. ARTS and help support arts education in California’s public schools. We love supporting local organizations, and P.S. ARTS is one of our favorites because of how much they give back to our community. The arts have inspired each of us at Giant Media both personally and professionally, so we are thrilled to be able to participate in the LA Big 5K and provide that opportunity to others.”

Three Day Rule | threedayrule.com
“We joined Team P.S. ARTS because we’re always looking to partner with amazing organizations. Personally, I’ve always had a love for the arts — from painting to learning about art history. I’ve always wished that I had had more opportunities to explore these passions growing up.”
— Morgan Jones

“Allowing the young creative minds of the world to flourish is not just important, it’s necessary for our future!”
— Agnes Nipales
