The Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon, Charity Relay, and LA BIG 5K are less than two weeks away. Follow #MarathonMonday to learn more about our amazing runners and why they are running for Team P.S. ARTS! This week, meet Antonia Ellis and Caroline Rose.

Why are you running the LA Marathon, and why did you choose to join Team P.S. ARTS?
I wanted to run for a charity, and after reviewing the participating nonprofits I picked P.S. ARTS since I am passionate about children building their self-esteem through the arts. I hope that I can make a difference and help this organization continue to provide arts education to 25,000 students each week! I studied classical piano from the age of eight through college, and my passion for music led me to my career today in Film & TV production — the arts are transformative!

Why are you running the LA Marathon, and why did you choose to join Team P.S. ARTS?
By providing arts education to our schools, P.S. ARTS is enriching the lives of students and our society as a whole. Volunteering with P.S. ARTS was a great way to become more involved in the community as well as help support something I believe is essential to education. I’ve wanted to run a marathon since I was in high school — when I realized P.S. ARTS had a team, I couldn’t think of a better organization and cause to run for!
