P.S. ARTS works with each individual school to design a program that best fits the needs of the community. Whether it's visual arts, music, theater arts or dance, the instruction is created and aligned with the state standards in the visual and performing arts. Currently, P.S. ARTS programs serve nearly 12,000 students in Los Angeles County and the Central Valley of California.

For the 2007-2008 school year at the Lawndale Elementary School District, The P.S ARTS program team has created “I AM” (Integrated Arts Model), a specially designed curriculum that unifies Music, Theater Arts, Visual Arts and Dance instruction along the lines of common themes, essential concepts and related masterworks, and also connects the P.S. ARTS instruction directly to the regular classroom content areas. |
